Support for overwhelmed moms who feel burned out and alone. Learn why connection helps more than advice — and find a calm space to land.

Being a mom often feels like holding two or ten things at once. You’re doing your best, juggling responsibilities, and still wondering if you could be doing more. And even when you love your kids deeply, there are days when you feel overwhelmed, tired, or just… stretched thin.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And the reason you feel this way isn’t because you’re failing. It’s because humans are built for connection — not isolation — especially during stressful seasons of life.
Why Connection Matters for Moms
Research shows that social support isn’t just nice to have — it actually helps reduce stress. In one study with pregnant women, having effective support lowered their stress hormone (cortisol) response during times of distress, compared with those who felt less supported. This means your body literally feels safer when others are there for you.
A large review of peer support interventions found that moms who connected with others — in person or online — experienced lower anxiety and depression symptoms over time.
Other research shows that mothers with strong social support tend to have better mental well-being and are more resilient when facing stress.
That doesn’t mean you have to have it all together. It just means we’re wired to feel better when we feel understood, seen, and supported.
The Difference Between Support and Fixing
So often, moms are told to “do more”, “organize better”, or “improve routines.” But many moms don’t actually need another checklist — they need a space where they can breathe, be honest, and feel less alone.
Support doesn’t fix every problem. But it does:
- Reduce the emotional load
- Break the cycle of pressure and self-judgment
- Show that messy, imperfect humanity is okay
Instead of another tip you have to implement, support gives you something less measurable but far more powerful: emotional safety.
Why This Matters Now
Whether you’re working from home, managing school schedules, caring for little ones, or balancing multiple roles — the feeling of overwhelm isn’t just in your head. It’s a human response to carrying too much alone.
We’re not meant to walk through life in silence or isolation. Even science backs this up. Studies show that connection and support can positively influence biological stress responses and improve mental well-being.
This is why I’m hosting a small, free Galentine’s Zoom — not to teach, not to sell, but to create a place where moms can show up exactly as they are. If that feels supportive, you’re welcome.
This isn’t a workshop or a sales event. It’s a moment to just be seen and heard with other moms who understand.
If your season feels loud or heavy, I hope this is a soft place for you to land. Register here: https://learn.mymentalsummit.com/products/live_events/galentines
